FOR BUYING AND MERCHANDISING, I COMPLETED A LIVE PROJECT WITH ASDA GEORGE. THE BRIEF STATED I HAD TO CREATE A CAPSULE COLLECTION FOR ASDA GEORGE IN A CHOSEN DEPARTMENT. I COMBINED MY DISCONNECTECH TREND FROM THE TRENDS FORECASTING MODULE WITH A WGSN TREND ‘DIGITAL WAVE’ TO CREATE A MEN’S SMARTWEAR COLLECTION SPRING/SUMMER 2019.

I USED ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR TO CREATE MY FINAL RANGE INCLUDING THREE CORE ITEMS, TWO FASHION ITEMS AND ONE TRIAL PIECE AFTER ANALYSING CATWALK AND STREET STYLE. I CREATED A COLOUR PALETTE BASED FROM THE TRENDS RESEARCH AND USED SHAPES AND LINES FROM THE IMAGERY COLLECTED WITHIN THE COLLECTION. I CONSIDERED LEAD TIMES AND CREATED CRITICAL PATHS WHICH I THEN PRESENTED ALONGSIDE MY FINAL COLLECTION.
